Blues Meets Girl (BMG) is the powerful duo of British Blues veteran Mr. Downchild (aka Steev Inglish) and American singer/song writer Kasimira Vogel. The collaboration is smokin’ sexy and laced with infectious energy. This music duo’s magic is being more than the sum of its parts. The London born Mr. Downchild sings, plays harmonica, slide guitar and stomp box and is clearly steeped in the classic Blues tradition. Vocalist and percussionist Kasimira dares to touch her toe into larger musical waters. Their music is primarily blues or blues-influenced, but you will also hear threads of roots, rock, folk and jazz. Originally from the Cleveland area, BMG relocated to the Florida Panhandle in 2020, were the 2021 Regional Winners of the International Blues Challenge representing North Central Florida Blues Society and went on to 2022 International Blues Challenge becoming Semi-finalist.
