Jarred Goldweber
Jarred Goldweber started playing harmonica at the age of twelve after discovering his passion at a local arts camp in Cleveland, Ohio. He was immediately drawn to the raw emotion and storytelling of the Blues, a genre that felt honest, unfiltered, and deeply human. Early on, he was influenced by national harmonica legends like Adam Gussow, Ronnie Shellist, Jason Ricci, and Magic Dick, as well as Cleveland icons Wallace Coleman, Vernon Jones, and Crazy Marvin Braxton. With their guidance and inspiration, Jarred quickly found his voice and developed a unique style that blends traditional Blues with modern rock and metal influence. The harmonica’s ability to speak like a human voice captivated him from the very beginning, and he’s been chasing that sound ever since. Today, he shares his playing, creative process, and humor with a growing audience on TikTok and Instagram, most notably through his viral “Harmonica Where it Shouldn’t Belong” videos, where he pushes the instrument into unexpected musical territory with originality and flair. He has played for 29 years and is a local Cleveland native.
