Jack Flynn

Jack Flynn Drummer / Vocals
Focused Pocket drummer that listens and plays what the song needs vs over playing at the wrong time.
Working music career began in 1982, Drummer for the Todd Hart Band, Blues / Rock
Trio. In addition to regular gigs at the Euclid Tavern with Flipside, Peabody’s, Rum Runners etc. The band was a favorite in the biker circuit often playing Harley events and Swap meets throughout the region along with the Burnt River band. A highlight was opening for “Badfinger“ in 1984.
After the hiatus of starting a family I join the Travis Haddix Band in 1990 and played throughout the region as well as road trips and recording. Some Highlights were opening for Bobby Blue Bland, Koko Taylor, Little Johnny Taylor, Latimore and Lonnie Brooks to name a few. Eventually the travel became a conflict with family life and making a living so I left Travis Haddix Band and joined Blues Deville in 1994.
Over a 30-year period With Blues DeVille playing hundreds of gigs and numerous recording sessions. A few Highlights include opening shows for, Kim Wilson, Little Charlie and the Night Cats, Koko Taylor, Cash McCall, James Harman, Tommy Castro, Anson Funderburgh and the Rockets and The Cash Box Kings.
More recently I did a 12 gig stint drumming for Kev Rowe and friends (formerly, Big Keg Emma ) playing Buffalo, Rochester ,Erie PA Region
I’ve done many “fill in” gigs over the years as well with bands like Blue Lunch, Real Deal Blues, Lonesome Bones to name a few.
