About Us

The Cleveland Blues Society is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote awareness and appreciation for the blues. Through our alliance, we endeavor to provide more opportunities for fans to see quality local and national blues artists. Additionally, we will provide educational workshops and preserve the history of the blues in our area.
The Cleveland Blues Society Board meets once a month, usually the 3rd Wednesday of the month. If you have any questions or would like to submit a proposal to the board, please send an email to CBS, Blues@ClevelandBlues.org, to get on the agenda for the next meeting.
As always, we are in need of volunteers to help with the many projects CBS is working on. If you have interest in becoming a volunteer and can commit even just a couple of hours a week, please contact us.
You can contact the Cleveland Blues Society by e-mail. If you would like to contact a specific board member or officer, click on the names listed below. To learn more about the board members, click on the pictures below.

Benefits of Being a Member of CBS

Your membership directly supports the Cleveland Blues Society and its mission to promote awareness and appreciation of the Blues. With your continued support, we are able to preserve the history of the Blues in our region and provide more opportunities to experience live music. We accomplish this mission through various events, including our monthly Jams, which foster community among musicians and offer venues a way to support the Blues scene.

Monthly Member Band Jam

On the second Monday of each month, the Cleveland Blues Society hosts a special jam session featuring a member’s band at a local venue. This program, in place since 2008, gives musicians and blues enthusiasts a consistent opportunity to gather and share their talents.
